Customer Service Policy


Goods will be accepted by John Macintyre & Son for exchange only if returned in saleable condition within 7 days of purchase, with proof of purchase. *Custom designed jewellery, special orders & earrings are regrettably non returnable, unless faulty. Refund Policy

If you wish to return your item for any reason you have 7 days after the day of delivery to do so. We will make a full refund as long as the items are returned in saleable condition.
Certain items are excluded from our full refund policy. Custom designed jewellery, special orders and earrings are regrettably non returnable. If the items have been removed from the Royal Mail bag or if the Royal Mail bag has been tampered with, we cannot refund or exchange the item due to hygiene reasons.

How To Return Your Item

Place the items into their original presentation boxes and make sure the parcel is sealed securely. You should also place a copy of the despatch note you received with your order into the parcel.
If the return items are posted, John Macintyre & Son cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit and not returned. We would advise that any returns are made with a proof of postage certificate or recorded delivery.

Cancelling An Order Before Despatch

Prices throughout the website are quoted in Pounds Sterling, and payment can only be accepted in Pounds Sterling. Prices include VAT. Packing and delivery costs will be added to the total price of your goods. Prices quoted on the website are applicable exclusively to goods purchased through this website. Prices applicable to goods for purchase in John Macintyre & Son stores may differ from those quoted on this website.
While we make every effort to ensure that the goods shown on our website are currently available at the price shown on the website, we cannot guarantee that this will always be the case. If goods you have ordered online are unavailable, you will be notified as soon as possible.
If a pricing error is made on our website or in the ordering process we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of buying the goods at the correct price or cancelling the order

Delivery within UK is Next Day (providing stock availability)
Delivery within Europe is 3-5 working days
Rest of World delivery is 7-10 working days
Deliveries charge within UK is £5.00 for orders UNDER £50.00
Deliveries charge within Europe is £9.75
Delivery charge Outside Europe is £20.00
All prices include VAT

Stated delivery will be by Royal Mail next day special delivery. This should ensure delivery during Monday-Friday of 24 hours. Weekends, i.e. postal Friday night could mean 48 hours. All jewellery will be fully insured.
